Note regards player fees, Female fees across Juniors/Youth and Senior teams in 2020 are the same as Male fees as part of a drive by FFA, FFV and local leagues to encourage greater uptake of the game.

On average our program fees in 2020 work out at $8 a week – note for AGES U10 and upwards fees cover both your training and game day sessions throughout the season.

Please remember all players must be registered and full payment made for the club to be able to activate you or your child to play for the club – No Pay, No Play.

1. Acceptance of Terms and Conditions

CGFC Membership Rules and the CGFC / Football Victoria (FV) registration Terms and Conditions shall be deemed to have been accepted by Parent/s and Player/s upon payment of fees or upon entering a fee’s payment plan with the club.

Payment by a Guardian shall be deemed to have been made on the behalf of junior players.

2. Registration

Registration of players means signed up and registered via the Football Victoria (FV) Play football website and fees fully paid or payment via payment plan approved.

3. Team Placement

When assigning players to teams, preference will be given to fully paid players. CGFC will not hold team spots. The exceptional being those who have signed onto a club payment plan

4. Payment of Fees

All fees shall be paid in FULL by 15tht March of the playing year.  The exceptional being those who have signed onto a club payment plan.

Payment plans must be agreed in writing (email) with the Club Treasurer at time of registration.

Registrations post the 15st of March must be paid in full or by payment plan at the time of registration or risk the registration being rejected or the loss of the team position for the player.

5. Financial Hardship

Families, Parents and players who have a genuine need for our financial support can contact the year group coordinator, club secretary, president or treasurer to discuss assistance options.

For Senior players on a payment plan, the FV/FFA component of senior players fees (approx. 60% of the fee) must be paid prior to participating in games.

6. Junior registration post commencement of our programs

CGFC is a community club and will make every attempt to find a spot for your player where possible. With full teams, late registration juniors may be offered a training spot in a team and be wait listed to play on game day.

7. Outstanding fees from previous years

In the event of outstanding fees from previous playing year, please note that all outstanding player fees will need to be paid prior to registration of players in the current season.

Outstanding fees will preclude players from being assigned to teams and involvement in preseason training activities until the debt is discharged or a payment agreement is signed at the discretion of the CGFC Treasurer.

8. Procedure for non-payment of fees

If after payment deadlines have passed and/or payment plans have not been respected and the communications have been ignored, the Club will act to suspend a Member from playing with the Club until outstanding fees are up to date, including any penalty, late payment or administration fees.

The player/s will be contacted, by email and sms txt message before the next game and informed of the decision. The player/s will only be allowed to play again once they have fulfilled the agreed requirements for payment. All player registration payment details shall be kept strictly confidential between Club Board Members, the Coach, and the Member concerned.

IMPORTANT: If outstanding fees remain, Grievance Notices may be lodged with Football Victoria. Player/s will be unable to register at any clubs until the fees have been paid in full.

9. Player Fee Refunds

No registration refunds will be given after a player has been allocated to a team unless approved by the club treasurer and secretary, and only in exceptional circumstances. The maximum refund once a player has commenced playing games is 50% of the fee. An administration fee of 10% may apply.

Partial refunds may only be given at the discretion of the Club Committee in exceptional circumstances e.g., severe injury.

No refunds will be provided if membership is revoked due to breaching Club Codes of Conduct.

10. Player Fines

Procedure for Player Fines/Red Cards: Players who are suspended by FV for disciplinary actions or Red Cards issued for behaviour deemed to be Violent, Racist or Abusive towards an Official/Player/Coach/Referee or Spectator will be personally liable for payment of all fines and will be ineligible for selection until the fine/s is/are paid in full and penalties served.

Unpaid fine/s will be carried over to the next season and the member will not be eligible for registration until unpaid fine/s is/are paid in full.

A position in the team will not be held if the fine/s remain unpaid. FV will be notified to ensure the player is not registered at another club while outstanding fees or fine/s remain unpaid.
